DT More mixed media April Challenge

Hi Friends,

First of all I really want to express my excitement for being Design Team member at More mixed media. Mixed media is my recent love and I am happy it is being appreciated by you all.

More Mixed Media has come up with April Challenge with Yellow theme.

I am feeling great joy in sharing my first project for More mixed media..

I have created this layout using Tim Holtz stencils with homemade texture for layering, Tim Holtz Distress stain, Lindy's mist spray, acrylic colours. I have also used embellishments like glitters, metal charms, butterflies, mdf, pollens and yellow flowers( to make yellow as prominent). This is my first project as Design Team member so I am very excited and wanted to make something special..As yellow signifies the joy, sunshine, warmth...so I end up using my pic with my husband of our courtship period :)

Moving on to how I made this,

->I have taken a 12x12 pattern paper of Enogreeting.
->Prepared the homemade blue texture 
->Used Tim Holtz stencils with homemade texture for layering
->Used gesso on some patches of the paper for highlighting the colors I will put on
-> Then I tore out pattern papers strip and pasted it randomly and also pasted yellow corrugated paper horizontally
->Tim Holtz Distress stain, Lindy's mist spray, acrylic colours on base paper
->Used gesso and sprays again 
->Added the picture and other embellishments
